want to try and catch some live bait around logan. willing to travel to gold coast even. wanting to use a bait jig only no cast nets is there any hot spots. for mullet gar ect

what size livie r ya after mate.

for tiny feeder fish u can simply soak some fine mesh trap at those freshwater creeks such as gould adams park, lake taigum etc.

smallish mullet: soak some traps at that famous carp spot up carindale.

proper jewie/jack livie: baitjig any of the bridges at night during running out tide and u'll score a bucket load.

medium sized gar: raby bay is a good place to try and catch some under the float.

full size mullet: catch ur own at gould adams park
