queensland 18.04.11 Breakfast creek

I decided to go back breakfast creek yesterday with a few mates (doss and a few other guyss) after last friday fishing sesh. We got to the boat ramp at 6am (bucketing down in rain) and castednet for bait. About a hour after we headed to the mouth of the creek for some fish. We throw out live pawns and i hooked onto a few bream (21cm 24cm 29cm). The bites went off for a while until a big hit from a ray. Then again the fish went of the bite. Then i hear my drag getting hammered. I pulled it up and got my first Threadfin (41cm). Not long after i hear the drag go off agian. i pulled it in and got a nice little jewie (37cm). Doss hooked up for the first time. While im recoding a video of him i see my rod get pumped. DOUBLE HOOKUP!. He pulls in a 50 cm jewie and i get a 47 cm jewie. We decided to pack up so i started to bring up my line, about 2 meters for the rocks i get smashed on my whiting ( Winter). I pull it up and get another 46cm jewie. It was a good day fishing except the rain all day.

good job fellas, i saw you down there in the rain It's looking a bit dirty down there atm. A bit over a week ago it was super clear and the bream were hitting lures regularly. I've been down yesterday and today and not had a hit. Oh well...that's fishing.
