queensland Early morning on the GC Spit

Hi All,

Am off to the GC in the morning and thought I would see if anyone has any hints/tips. I am not sure exactly where along the Spit we are heading but my friend has a "spot". Any thoughts on what might be biting around the incoming tide?? Also what type of bait would work best??

Make sure you take loads of terminal tackle, you will loose a few. Tailor have started to show up in numbers and trevally are everywhere.

probably livies would be the best herring hardyheads probably wateva they are feeding on try and get a few near the nerang with a castnet should do alright if they are around

Live bait is best,Im not up on other baits only plastics and livies i use.

Any flesh strips mabe mullet bonito or 1/2 pillies.
