Fishing Brisbane River

hello all.

i tend to surf fish but do not always have teh time to get up/down teh coast to throw a line in. i belevie there is some great estuary/river fishing around brisbane but do not know the good locations.

can anyone let me know of a few spots around (be as specific as possible as i am reasonably new to brisbane).

yeah some good spots like boggy creek and the shultz, but thanks to the genius's at healthy waterways, these places look like a garbage dump and smell like a sewer.

But having said that there are some good size fish around.
