thanks... will have to take my trailer down for a visit when i can find a new towbar.

cheers, nothing worse than putting in/packing bearings on the side of the road. this way it's a straight swap not sure why more people don't do it. at the moment my spare hub is in a box that i keep wrapped up on newspaper but wouldn't mind having it all mounted on a trailer.
