queensland last day of holidays.. Shultz canal :)

Decided to head down to Shultz with fishing_teen aka nat today got up bout 6 looked out the window and was looken pretty windy and COLD.. being a bit apprehensive bout it all met up with nat and rode out got out there to find shultz glassed out which was a pleasant surprise any way got stuck in to it with not much happening bar a little bream.

After a couple of hours nat finally managed a nice flatty going 47cm and not long after I got another one just a little bigger.

Got the call from fishguru5 aka pat who came down not long after, we then moved up to the usual spot where the fishing started to pick up with 7 or 8 flattys caught between 44cm and 62cm after that it slowed down a bit with a couple more dropped fish so we decided to called it a day.

Ps on our way back to the bike path pats bike decided to well make some bad sounds and pretty much die so after some bush mechanic skills, some 40lb leader and a cast net rope we managed to get back to Toombul

All in all was a good day with nice fish and some great fun befor school stars again tomoz
