queensland mud island and brizzy river

g'day all

the weather look good so we made the quick chose to hit up mud island this morning. myself, j-dog115 his brother and dad jumped it the boat and of to pinkenba. got to the ramp at about 6.45 which is an early start compared to the 2.30 start from offshore.

got to the ramp got the boat and drove up to the poop shoot to get some fresh bait. with all the bait we needed make the quick trip out to mud. fished mud for a couple of hours and only mannaged a few squire biggert going about 25cm. aswell as the squire we landed a small shovle nose.

the fish went of the bite out at mud so we went back into the river to flick some SP. i got about 10 tailor and joel got about 4 and he also mannaged a 32cm bream. i jagged a big mullet in the tail so on light gear that gave me a run for my money.

after an hour of catching tailor after tailor we called it quits and headed for home

haha yeer well it said we had 20L left in the tank but should of been reading how much had gone through the motor
