This was in me local rag this week;

Man bashed from behind.

A fishing trip turned into a visit to hospital for a Browns Plain man.

The 37 year old man had been fishing at Doughboy Pde at Hemmant on Sunday about 9am when he was seriously assualted.

Wynnum police said the man was fishing with another male who was unknown to him and when the victim was walking back to his car he was hit in the head several times from behind.

The offender demanded the keys to the man's car but fled when refused. He is described as 184cm tall, Caucasian, and about 20.

I fish there occassionally, but I'm loathe to go there now. Makes you think, eh? We all go off alone to remote spots and pass the time of day with total strangers who may be fishing there. Keep safe, fellas!
