queensland blade vs trev and flatties

headed down the coast today for an arvo sesh, i started with the usual troll with hard bodies and managed 3 flatty in 5 mtrs of water, best going 51cm. i flicked a nuke chook for another smallish flatty and looked at a blade sitting the box. tied it on and started working it in fairly deep water. did not take long and another flatty is landed going 50cm.. i decided i should try this blade in a 8 mtr hole i know of and it paid off.. first drop and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz a nice 46cm trev boated. this was a first for me to get a trev on a blade.. so quick pic and drop the blade back down and on the first lift , bang zzzzzzzzzzzz strong head shakes and a strong run before pulling the hooks "mother ducker" :ohmy: quickly got back to it and next drop i was on again to a slightly better trev going 48cm. light was disappearing quick and i worked for about another 5 mins for one massive drag screaming run that did not feel like a trev due to the shear weight but all did not end well with me going a lil hard and pulling the hooks again :pinch: :silly: was a fun lil arvo sesh and look forward to doing it again and working the blade from get go!!
