2012 'Fishing Mania' Summer Classic - Event HQ

We are pleased to announce we have officially confirmed the Apollonian Hotel as the event HQ for the 2012 Fishing Mania Summer Classic. This venue is situated in the heart of Boreen Point and should thus suit most people regardless of where they are staying. The venue is a sensational example of Queensland architecture and we could not think of the a better HQ. The admin team will be at the hotel (on the lawn) during the advertised hours. Please feel free to come by and have a yarn!

There should be a few event competitors there each night so if you are new to AFO events please come and be social. Saturday night will be a more formalised social and there should be a spit roast put on for a very reasonable price. The new management at the Apollonian Hotel have also indicated they will be doing some lucky door prizes on the Saturday night as well.

The Apollonian Hotel is situated on Laguna Drive in Boreen Point and is pretty much impossible to miss.

Remember today (the 10th of January) is the last day of the Early Bird special for this event so dont miss out!

Rang them up the other day, their internet page has their rooms listed at $70 per night but when I rang them they said that was wrong and it was $130 per night, has anyone else booked there??
