Had a very brief window of opportunity after work today to go suss out the creek again after the last big down pour.

It's still very murky and dirty with floating debris.

Thought I'd give it a crack any way as the weather was way to nice to pass up.

I had size 2 beetle spin in silver with a 1/8th jig head and d grub tail.

The fish seemed a little timid, there were no aggressive follow up strikes all bites came while the lure was dropping to or resting on the bottom.

Nothing huge, but after not catching bass for a while it sure was nice to get a few.

Would love to be putting up more reports but just been way to busy at work to fish.

I'll be getting out tomorrow and sunday though, so fingers crossed I land a few good ones eh :cheer:
