Attaching Port/Starboard lights to tinny

I was just wondering what is the best way to attach pot/starboard lights to my tinny?

they need to be on the straight bit of the boat, so facing forward not facing in if you know what i mean?

mark the spot and drill once! haha, then put a SS nut and bolt in then fill it with a bit of marine seal.

By putting red on the left and green on the right

The technical ruling is when looked at from head on you should be able to see equal red and green and the 'trailing edge' of the light is 112 degrees obtuse from the centre line.

Hope it make sense, grab a copy of the MSQ book that has a good diagram of most lights required.

You can pop rivet them on as well, but make sure you use the aluminium rivets. As booty said, make sure they ar legal or you will be ripping them off and refixing them later (maybe with a fine).
