Hey guys,

My 30hp Tohatsu outboard motor is in need of a service.

I have never had it serviced before and was after some advice on how much it will cost and which place is recommended.

how many hours is this service for?

i was in the same boat not too long ago and the price varied a lot between different shops. in my circumstance i ended up doing the service at home with the help of Mick_Fillet but if you search for my thread - a few places were recommended i just can't think of them off the top of my head.

Figure $300~+ though

Mate,if your on the nthsde theres a machanic at Burpengary, i had my serviced three weeks ago with him. Charged me $238.00 for 100hr service which it has not done.Replaced oil, sparks and impeller, hes very good. Had a quote buy nthsde marine $450.

Neptune marine down at slacks creek are the authorised Tohatsu dealers. They handled the servicing on my previous Tohatsu. Quick, efficient and honest. Not the cheapest, but worth every cent.

Not sure of how many hours it has done as i bought it 2nd hand
