Anyone using Rapala "SLAM" soft plastics?

I bought some off of ebay for $5 a pack and gave them a go

I bought a pack of 3 inch curltail speckled pumpkin and 4 inch pearl ghost swim shads and am wondering if anyone has used them and compared them to some of the other soft plastics result wise and for those that have used the slam baits, what pattern did you have results with?

Caught a legal lizard on cast one and then was attacked by grinners.

Lost a couple as well plus pulled one in that had the end chomped off, so overall, I was pretty impressed with my first soft plastic experience.

Well to go out on ur fist sp session and hook a few is a good sign, its the beginning of an addiction

I've used them before, i find that with the shads they are a lot stiffer than other plastics (meaning you have to work harder). Having said that, they work fine and still catch fish; i do prefer other brands though.
