Seem to be in a bit of a purple patch at the moment. It all started when I bought Muzz's Samurai and a Daiwa Double Clutch lure 3 weeks ago. Anyway, headed up to Boggy Creek this morning for a couple of hours. After 3 Bream and a flathead (all legal, but only just), I thought I would go for a trawl under the bridge and back up the creek a little way. Anyway, this guy was hanging in the deeper hole under the bridge.

After a good tussle for a few minutes I gave up trying to net it and ran the kayak up onto the ramp and a bloke there who had been watching all this was only too happy to net it for me. I only had 6lb leader on so was expecting us to part company at any moment so didn't want to push my luck too much. Quick pic and was able to get it back in the water with no harm done to the fish.

I haven't fished boggy in the kayak yet. It used to be one of my landbased regulars!

I quite enjoy going for a paddle there. Nice and close to home, generally pretty quiet and from the ramp up to the bridge and back is a good length for a quick paddle!

Nice fish mate. They have got some go for thier size, Have had them take to the air at that size.
