calliope sunday

I went out on Sunday in search of the yabby flats around wiggins on the dead low. however could not find them, so I put plan B into action and went back to my favourite spot where some mullet were being busted up.

2 casts into the bank with a classic bluewater F18, white in colour, and I was on - boating a healthy 68cm Threadie (1st ever too), after some qick pics, I released it to fight another day.

5 casts later a 45cm flatty is on board, as per all the other fish I catch he was released. feeling a little under the weather, I headed back to the ramp. plenty of other boats out on the water, all were catching threadfin salmon around the hot water.

thanks for reading, craige
