pumicestone passage whiting???

Hi Guys,

Hopefully someone may be able to help with this.

Does anyone know where in the southern end of the Pumicestone passage would be a good spot for whiting?

hi i catch them every where in the passage usualy on squid or worm i find i get the most around the bridge i found any depth is good. im after flathead but can never hook any just dam whiting.

or they say in the fishing reports that the cockle banks are fishing brilliantly for them

I fish for them in the same location as I pumped the yabbies I use for bait.

As soon as there enough water over the yabby bank, cast where the disturbed area is.

Also worth casting some small poppers.
