queensland Fishing the bay this weekend

Hey Guys, well no sport this weekend so I've got both days off.

Just wondering what everyone is doing? i might be heading out in the bay both days.

Pretty keen to give the tuna a run if some are around, anyone seen any around the northern side of the bay?

Might have a deckie spot as well but not to sure as of yet

Not sure if it's still considered moreton bay or not, but I was at a wake held at the Bribie Island bowls club yesterday, saw tuna chopping up casting distance from the shore. I had to refrain my excitement being at a wake and all, the missus wasn't impressed I kept looking out the window.

Mate if you want tuna I'd be heading over to the rainbow or Rous channel they are thick at the moment there!

Can't comment on north bay though

i am undecided on where i am going. either hiting curtin/bulwer or cape, or heading out thriugh the sth passage. i will be on the look out for tuna to stock up the freezor

Last 2 times I've been in the river the past 2 weeks ie seen tuna bust ups

Also saw some on the southern side of mud.

We started getting them last year this time. Depends on where your looking though. Mostly schoolies around too. They not that thick atm but if you get into good school not hard to get your bag. My mates got 26 schoolies Sunday in bay and went back wenesday and got 18. So they are around.

I cant wait for the spots to come through. Got the gear and lures all sorted.
