Pricing Difference

Isnt it amazing. Ebay and MO tackle buy it now prices for the 2 speed tyrnos 30 ar areound the $370-$385 mark.

I was in at BCF on saturday filling the gas bottle and had a look same reel $480.

Shop around, I know I will be from now on. (previous to this i would walk into one store, if it had what I wanted I would buy it)

Know where you are coming from, after shopping around every where & getting some very differing & lack luster advice saved my self almost 500 big ones buying a new sounder/ploter on ebay.:cheer:

Yeah, BCF's pricing on big or high end reels are somewhat high. However, they will beat a price by 10%, so providing you can prove its cheaper elsewhere, you could get a better deal at BCF.

BCF's prices on most things are high!

They are not the usually super cheap large chain store.

I found some of the smaller things to be cheaper. Or at least, on par with the competition

On par I suppose is reasonable, but for a large store like that, I suppose I have just come to expect almost break-even prices. Like Bunnings, everything is cheaper than the independants, but support small business instead!

working in an industry where service justifies the price im the type of person that wouldnt mind paying extra for the service....not the other way around by going to the market, getting a good price then having some lazy prik undercut everyone by 10% for doing sweet F all...
