lucanus jigs

Hi all was just wondering if many people have had much success around Harry Atkinson reef and the shallower reefs in the bay using Lucanus/Octa jigs in the 20grms or 40grms. I'm keen to give it a try but weather or not its worth wasting my money and time is the question. thanks.

I know what youre asking, but is it really a waste of time and money !!

If we all followed that principal we would all still be using gulps in nuclear chicken.

Think of the poor tackle dealers.

Definitely worth a shot mate. We get a lot of swewetlip and nannygai up here and would think they would work well on snapper down your way. You never know if you never go mate - or something like that!!

In other words - give them a shot and break the mould

That's just a joke, I also use Armour Shads (and soon Monster Mickey's/Mikkies or whatever the trendy spelling is)

I have two Lucanus Jigs that I continually forget to use. They will work for sure. Look too good not to :whistle:
