queensland Hinze Dam 14/11/12 Skipper outfished me

So yesterday morning I was invited to go out and chase bass with the man, the legend Ray Kennedy. We arrived at hinze and launched about 6:30 am. We pulled up to our first spot and Ray was on in a few minutes. He got about 5 bass from this spot and i got an eel. but then the bite went off. so we changed locations. i get diddley squat and ray pulls in another 3. then as he is unhooking his last one his camo stick and stradic 1000 combo goes over into the water and was almost gonskies, but lucky to my cat like reflexes (which only come out in the oddest of situations, as kurt will tell of my clumsiness) i saved it pulling it and the fish up. now id never used any austackle stuff previously to this and i enjoyed playing the bass on this rod. was alot of fun. we then moved to another location and i finally got into my first two bass on my gear for the day. was good to finally give the sienna 1000 a bass to its name. its been in 3 bass trips and had landed one lol. thanks ray for the great day out as always. always enjoy our chats. very wise! anyhow he are some photos

I did not even realize that it was going for a swim until you did that magnificent save.

I would be lost without it it has caught some great fish in its time and taken a lot of punishment.
