I took a group of japanese out to deep tempest last saturday in between the storms.

The boys did allright, im not big on jigging as im too old and fat to keep it up all day.

we went north of hutchies first then to Deep Tempest.The boys caght 3 kingies and 1 AJ , they were over 10 Kg each as thats the limit of my scales.

They hooked up 4 at once and managed to land 3 , they got another double hook up and landed one after I wound the drag up a bit to much and busted 1 off.

Lucky my wife rang me and warned me about the storm so we ran for the Cape ahead of all the lightning.When we came back into the bay heading for Scarborough there were 2 m swells and abot 30 knots of wind. Gotta love a cat in that weather.

had a trip to 1770 with the family and friends attached is the catch from Boult Reef, its a great place 1770.
