Broken $11 rod, Jarvis Wa*ker reel reverse switch broken after 2 trips (returning it tomorrow!) But didn't stop me landing my first ever proper shark!

After the catfish the other day the budget may be relaxed for the ongoing long distance surf experiment :silly:

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with your gear. I live at Redcliffe and have noticed over the past couple of weeks that there are a few sharks around... for me a couple in two weeks.
