Friday evening about 7ish myself and a couple of mates are planning on heading down the coast for some fishing and were wondering where some great flatty spots are that are land based.

not only flatty but were after bream, taylor ect u guys know..the nice feed fish :P

were planning on going until somtime saturday evening. so some spots between the logan and tweed would be welcome recommendations, also some directions if possible (spent weeks trying to locate this damn coomera piggery lol still no luck)

anyway hoping for some help guys :D

will take photos and post a report on the diff spots.

Mate try the broadwater, the the right of sea world. Nice quiet places to set up that always look good for flatties and bream.

The canals right in the heart of teh goldy, opposite the casino are also teeming with bream. Plenty of parks right on the canals that have access to the water.

Nerang river and Tallabudgera Creek could also be worth a shot.

Theres a lake on 19th av in palm beach seen a few monster lizards and bream pulled out of their on the incoming tide.

i've caught queenfish and 3 species of trevs to 8kg caught and released a 5kg flathead out of there in thelate 80s early 90s it,s a gerat spot on a night or dawn run in tide the bigger the better.

live herring or small mullet, live prawns if you can get them cast into the current unweighted and freespooled out got slammed.

my friends and i used to keep undersized jacks from other places and release them in there, who knows whats in there now?

it's agreat spot to get out of the wind
