Feeding the Chooks

went up the garden today to feed the chook, only one left after 2years and found shed been swallowed. :woohoo: great looking python cant tell the length but hed be a good 6 footer I reckon. I foxed proof the cage forgot about the snakes.

Amazing how they can dislocate their jaw and swallow things much great in diameter than themselves.

We had a pretty close call about a week ago. We heard our ducks going off at about 9.30 at night so we raced out and there was a 2.5metre python wrapped around our duck. He had sunk his teeth into her wing and was crushing her. Luckily we had a broom and managed to uncurl the snake and save our duck. It seems like you weren't so lucky....
