Hi guys

I'm in Mooloolaba for the weekend. This is my 1st time here and i want to wet a line. Can anyone give me any advice or pointers on the area.

Boat. Kayak or or land based?

If youre landbased try the end of the spit on the rock wall always plenty of people there or around the boats in the wharf area for bream, if you have a boat try the Gneerings theres the Inner ones just a short way out or the Outer Gneerings which are marked with a Buouy, havent got the marks but theres always plenty of boats there on the weekends to mark them. Thx. Will go buy some bait and throw a variety of bait an see what bites. I'll be landbased.

get the bait at the bait shop where the trawlers come in its next to the takeaway fish & Chop shop and bags of ice, BIG bags only $4.

Hi Dave

I walked to the rockwall. Had to because alk the roads are closed for the annual triathlon. 2km either way. Had 2 rods in with sardine. Only had peckers and nothing else. Dissapointing.... wil fish off the rocks in front of the Oceans hotel tomorrow and see.
