queensland Bass from the weekend

Been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to post a few bass. On the weekend Dad and I headed out for a bit of a kayak and fish. Paddled for a bit but decided to drag them up onto the bank and go for a bit of a walk. We got to nice little spot after a few hundred metres of walking and Dad was immediately rewarded with 1 little bass from no more than 50cm of water :woohoo:

This big one was so heavy it needed 2 hands to hold up :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

With the storm quickly approaching we decided we would have to head back so we didn't get caught in the storm. Dad finished the day with 1 more and a donut for me. Will probably head there again on the weekend and plenty of times on the holidays :woohoo:

It was great fun seeing the bass hit the lures and even better seeing how small they are which can only be a good thing!!!! Next time we need to catch the big mummy from that hole.....

Also got to test out our new abu garcia rods which we picked up super cheap at the tinny and tackle show!
