Hey Guys ,

Headed out over the Weekend With a very good mate of mine to chase some moreton bay Snapper,

We Fished Big Whole Yakkas and Slimies over a ledge in the North western Bay Area in Approx 14m Of Water ,

Ended up with one fish going 7KG, one Just on 6Kg and 2 About 4.5kg -5Kg,

We threw Back 4 Others that where well over the 70cm Mark to keep our Bag Intack.

Did not See Many Others Around and About

Yeah mate dead yakkas and slimies,

Best fish come off a whole slimy almost 30cm long,

This Spot Produces Good Fish Like that Every year , Its Just a matter Of Being there at the Right time

Last Year we Had quite a few Fish almost go the Magic 10kg Mark , So its promising and a Very Untouched Area to fish ,

Hahah, mate if i ever got a spare seat ill send you a msg hey, some times i only get 1 hrs notice befoe i go its just windows of oportunity and i make sure i take them, weather,moon and tide is super important

Chasing big trphy bay fish in winter is one of my favourite things, bur unfortunaltey i have more fishless trips than success.
