catching sand worms

i need help. everytime i go sandworming, all i manage to do is rip their heads off. or miss all together. how is it done.

Shortie, im no expert but can easily catch sand worms, once you have them sticking thier heads up, grab a pippie or something like that and place that down in onehand and use the other hand to pinch the worm , pinch the worm firmly only once it has arched its back and is bitting the pippie, it will go straight back into the sand but play tug of war with it and you should be right, if you have any q's p.m me..
