So lately at work it has been quite, so I asked the boss yesterday could I take a day off tomorrow to go fishing? He replied " Cuong! see you on Thursday" sweet!

Had a late start today, got to the ramp at 11am, and got to the rock wall by 11:30am. Started casting rapala X-raps deep divers and Z-man paddle tails along the rock wall hoping for a cod. Within 20mins I was onto a solid fish! Surprise surprise, it was a cod! My 1st cod on a lure

I continued fishing along the rock wall and it was well worth it. I landed 2 snappers,4 breams and 1 cod. Got back to the ramp by 4pm.

Nice cod and squire there mate, bl00dy good effort for a middle of the day session. What did the squire take? Hoping to get out there Fri night/Sat morning - any surface activity in the paddock between there and Mud?

I must be doing something wrong, when I catch cod its like pulling in a wet sandwich bag, never get much of a fight.
