To put it simply, the water was dirty, but there was fish.

Ended up with a whole heap of bream, some chunky flathead, rays and slimy eel. There was also a whole lot of herring that i caught in the cast net, they are decent size but the odd small one.

Bream were caught on my secret bait and on herring and also some on 3 inch minnow in natural colours.(smelt and watermelon pearl) The first bream i caught was the thickest bream i have ever seen, but it was only 28 cm, any bigger it would have popped.

A whole lot of fun, the fish were most caught deep in the channel, nothing seemed to bite in the shallows.

all fish were released.

Thanks Sam. It has been good really figuring out the spots that I fish and paying alot of attention to the way things work, and also being able to find patterns. One things I have found helps me alot,

upgrades are hard for estuary species because I have got some big ones but maybe some new species would be good.
