Was it fun? No, not really. But we got what we went out for and that was a feed of delicious squid!

The conditions weren't good enough for a tuna hunt so the decision was made the day prior with Samrenny that a morning squid session was on the cards.

The rain was annoyingly annoying and I discovered my rain coat doesn't zip up anymore. I was soaked through by 10am and pulled the pin with 4 squid in the tank.

Not long after we left the ramp to go home the sun came out and it looked like a nice day! Typical.

Still worth it though and dinner last night was a beautiful chilli and veggie stirfry featuring the days catch. Yum.

Looks like not far from Green Island. At least you got some squid.

Quite far away actually but it doesn't really matter. As long as there is reef or weed on the bottom there are usually squid.
