Hi guys, Quick report with some photos. I was going to take the old man out for a bait fish on Saturday morning but he pulled the pin because of the wind and rain. I was a little more brave and headed out at about midday. I found it quite slow on lures until i got a nice 50cm yellowbelly on a jackall tn60 slow rolling through the trees. It was pretty slow after that until i decided to check the traps with about 15 shrimp in them so i went and found a school and converted those shrimp into about 10 bass. Sunday was more productive with about 5 bass caught on spinner bait and another 3 on bait. I ran out of shrimp and used gudgeons to catch 2 more. Ive attached a photo of me in the drink a couple of weeks ago when this small fella bricked me in the trees.

No swimming for me.

I pull the claws off the shrimp as I reckon that they will hold onto the line and sit doggo but with no claws they jump around more and attract the fish.

Also stops you getting a nip when your hands are soft.
