queensland Sunshine Beach Questions

So lately I haven't been posting but I certainly have been catching, finding cool new spots and doing a lot of beach fishing.

My questions is about Sunshine Beach at the Sunshine coast, I know what Perigian fishes like but I have never fished at sunshine beach. I would just like to know is the close proximity to the rocks and the reef (sunshine Reef) warrants the chance of a fish such as a spangled emperor or other reef species with a long cast. Also, what is the jewfish fishing at sunshine too?

Mate I have not fished there but your logic is sound. Fishing off the rocks at Straddy I have caught several spangled emps and not necessarily with a long cast. rough seas and big winds sometime see them come in closer.

Once again this is straddy not sunshine but many features are similar.
