queensland Shrimp Traps @ Ewen Maddock and Kurowngbah??

Hey all,

 

Quick question as I cannot find info online. What are the rules and regs in regards to using shrimp traps at places like Ewen Maddock and Lake Kurwongbah and possibly even the North Pine river

They are all above. fresh and salt rules for traps are different between fresh and salt.

Fisheries dont like you taking shrimp+water from dams that have cabomba weed to other dams.Its OK to use them in those dams. Just be careful what you transfer.

I think I will avoid that danger all together and wont transport any shrimp away from the waterway where I catch them and just use them on site.

Fisheries couldn't care less about use of shrimp where ever you like, it is SEQ Water that worry about you moving them between locations.

So depends on who catches you in the act of transporting shrimp...bit ridiculous
