Very slow going this morning with not a fish caught in the first 4 hours . Not a fish showing on the sounder upstream so we turned round and headed downstream and found some fish in a submerged thicket. I should have taken a photo of the down imaging screen . It was just a mass of green with some red stripes ( the fish) mixed in. We managed to extract 9 bass but lost 14 others to the tree. We upgraded to 15lb line and just skull dragged them up and were still losing fish.

Biggest bass went 37cm with all the others 32 to 33cm

at least we were on the water.

9 bass is a lot more than some people caught this week

Nice work Ray, the fishing has picked up a lot for me since the water has dropped 4 degrees, and i feel ya, ive been smoked at least once each time I've been out lately. I'm happy they are biting again.
