Peel Island Produces

My dads in town so we went fishing at peel island and got my first tailor and first keeper squire. My dad got the fish of the day a 40cm squire, in total we came home with 5 fish 2 squire going 35 and 40. My first tailor 37cm, a parrot fish 27cm and a bream 32cm which put up a hell of a fight. And I was bitten off by another tailor which seemed to be bigger. All I caught on 6lb line with 10lb mono leader. 

 

I was stoked and had a great day

No need to be embarrassed. They changed the limits etc a few years back. That's why forums are helpful for keeping up to date.  Your stick's out of date

I think you read it wrong ellicat he clearly said his squire was 35  but I though you would of picked up that he has caught a tusk fish and not a parrot which is a wrasse and has a min of 30cm.  All good malt by thanks for sharing mate cheers.

 I thought it was a blue barred parrot fish

Sorry mate it's definitely a grass or purple tusk fish, parrot will have a beak type mouth where as tusk fish have peg like teeth. Those tuskies are common in the bay but are not often over 30cm where as the black spot tuskies grow quite large.
