Live Yabbies. Help

Does anyone know where i can buy live yabbies as bait in brisbane area?

do you mean yabbies or redclaw cray fish? Annerly aquarium sells a mix of redclaw and yabbies but there like 80cents each - after working there i would suggest not going there cause they are sneaky and they will rip you off. I think you would be better off going to pet city mt gravatt, or a large pet store or aquarium. there plenty listed in the yellow pages. what side of town are you on cause i can list a couple that are close to you.

Thanks for ur help Big Dave. i am after yabbies(Pink), i live in south ( calamvale ), i alway have to get down to coast to buy yabbies.

Mate i have n ever seen saltwater yabbies for sale as bait or otherwise.

They are relatively easy to pump however.

I imagine they would be much more difficult than freshwater yabbies to keep alive hence the lack of bait shops selling them.

A pump wont set you back much for teh weallth of bait you can get with though!!!

Mate the \"Gem\" bait shop sells em sometimes but that's on the way to cabbage tree point.

I used to keep em alive for about 3 days but they were in very poor condiion by the 3rd day and had about a 50% loss. Not worth it.

I reakon you have to get fresh daily if you want em to work for you.

Oh sorry dude i thought you meant fresh water ones, but yeah like angus said get a yabby pump, there cheap and you will allways ahve fresh bait.
