queensland Catch Up With Ash

A long time over due catch up with ash was had about a month ago. 

We decided to take the kayaks out to where it all began for us years back, the upper brissy . 

The ussual catfish kept us entertained with their size and runs and we were even lucky enough to score a few yellas in between

 

best part of the trip was the actual catch up with a old mate that I hadn't seen for years! 

Cant wait to do it again.

I'm always on the hunt for the "extinct" Brisbane river cod .

im really enjoying vertical jigging for the yellas tho . Heaps of fun
