Had a couple of hours in the yak yesterday morning and was surprised that my hammy and sore ass held up better than in my boat the day before. Trolled around for zilch, but then got lucky finding a small school out on the flats, dont know what they were being taught as the bottom was flat and bare. Anyway the bass were willing to take blades so I sat back and enjoyed myself. Later had another troll looking for yellas but no luck.

I think there are limited small schools, its just a matter of finding one.

Back out in the rain yesterday, first bass was a very skinny 42cm, then a few more on blades, raining to much for pics. There must be a lack of food for the bass for that fish to be that skinny, although there is plenty of surface action going on.
