Hi Guys,

I haven’t done much fishing lately but as my luck would have it, I recently lost a fishing combo along Forgan/Samsonvale Rd. It’s a Megabass Shadow Pangea 10 ft (2 piece) rod and a Stella 4000 XG. I would be happy to pay $700 for its return. Thank you.

I was at Canungra Creek last week with my fishing mate Paul, fishing the skinny water. I managed to land this healthy little fella on my third cast using a Dog X. It was a nice change casting with a 4lb rod rather than a 30lb rod I use at the dams. Happy Holidays everyone!

Did it come out of the car while travelling , left there, or stolen?

Thanks guys! We were hit by a severe storm front and in our rush the combo fell off the car. My mistake. A pity it was a 2016 Xmas present!

Yes Luvit. It’s water under the bridge but I will have to replace it. Have you done much fishing this year?

Not as much as would have liked.

A trip to 1770 with other AFO members was a great and a couple of weeks ago went to Hervey Bay, but that's about it over the past 3 months.

I haven't seen you on here much lately you been hitting the bass hard?

Always good to get out to the fresh air Luvit. Catching fish is a bonus. I did well at the NPine, Wivenhoe and Somerset during Winter. Water was cold! A few more recent photos.

Years ago I was using 10lb gear but I kept getting bricked by the bigger bass. So these days my rods are 20, 25 and 30lbs. I lose very few fish!

just a tip/try supportin your fish under the belly so you don't damage their gill arch..rick
