A freezing start greeted us Sunday morning for the Toorbul monthly fishing comp.  

We really struggled to find quality fish with a lot of undersized bream coming over the side.  There was no breeze and the water was the clearest I have seen it in the past year.  I think this may have scared off the fish from their normal areas in the shallows

Final tally 3 whiting all 31cms and a couple of bream

No luck this month. The whiting were beaten by 50g and some monster bream were weighed in.

next time. you seem to do pretty well up there. What size were the Bream?

Shallow clear water makes fishing very tough. Probably a few that caught nothing so you did well.

Sorry didn’t get the weights or lengths.  The juniors outfished the seniors.

No lengths or weights but a great feed. Good stuff mate
