Snapped tip!!

Hi...snapped the tip of my starlo stix 7ft rod today putting it in the car, got caught on bloody seat cover i think. Anyway its snapped just before the second eye, is there anyway it can be repaired or is it now f$%#ked? if it is stuffed does anybody know if you can order just this half of the rod from shimano or bcf? any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to or you could take it to a tackle store and most should be able to repair it

mate this is so wierd i snapped mine about 4 weeks ago..(well actually my mate did).

i just ordered a new half..it only cost me $40 as i had a mate that new a mate if you get what i mean...

but for a every day person i think they are about $60-80...

how far down is the snap..i still have my ond one and its only snapped about 2-4cm from the tip..you could just put a new eye on that section.

How old is the rod ?

I bought a shimano rod from Kmart and it snapped the top off I still had the receipt

Told em I was fighting a fish and it snapped they gave me a whole new rod

Gaz...the rod is only 2 weeks old or so...still got the receipt so might give it a go.
