Place to get reel serviced

Hey guys have two Abu ambassador overhead reels about 7 years old that dont work the best any more. Can they be serviced? If so do you think they are worth getting fixed?

Im on the south side of brisbane anyone reccommend where to get this done at?

Try Tackle Warehouse. Coorperoo. They do pretty good reel services.

I think most places charge $20-30 + parts so u work out if its worth it. Most tackle stores should do it.

yes, nearly all specialized tackle shops do reel services and charge 20-30 depending on where u go.

if u want to let them replace parts, extra fee applies

The only fishing shops i have around me are BCF, Anaconda and tackleworld at underwood. I think tackleworld would be the only place that may do it. Thanks alot.

Yeh they should and if they cant they will know where to go but last time i checked they sent them away to someone to get done, took about a week i think

Tackleworld send them out but good job. Also concider Duncan at fishhead at victoria point does them on site normally $35.

yeah we send the reels away to be fixed one week turnover most of the time
