Gday,

Decided at 9am to wet a line for a couple hrs. Put the boat in at Carbrook at 9.30 and water was very milky, close to the top of the tide. Headed down to the mouth and across to the power line pylons (next to the rocks where the sign is). I used some chicken gut and some fresh local prawns. In 2hrs of fishing I caught only a small stingray and a damn catfish eel. I did have 1 hard run but the fish/ray whatever, dropped the hook  My mate sunk a full pilly and it did not get touched the whole time. Still too much fresh is my excuse :woohoo: :woohoo: On the way back we decided to do a bit of cast netting and that produced a lot of bait but we had to go into the creeks closer to the mouth to find em.

It was still good to get the fishing fix as i hadn't been out in a couple of weeks, but am now regretting the lack of suncream:blush:

Cheers

Woody
