What singles to use??

I want to change some of my poppers form trebles to single hooks, for the tarpon that have been throwing the hooks :angry: anyway just after some advice on what style and size of hooks I should chuck on them.

I want to change the hooks on my popper in the 40-60mm range

try old rusty ones with no point on them then you should land as many as me :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Have a look at some of the doubles that are available, they might be a good alternative!

The backs of the twin hooks lie along the lure, making for good support when the fish bite.

Decoys size 8 and 10 on my surface lures, sx40 and 48s, jackalls, g vibes. I just replace them when the supplied trebles get rusted, bent or broken. No difference in hook up rate and much easier to get out of fish so it doesn't damage them as much.
