queensland quick fish

hi all had a test session with my new reel ( see deals direct ) thread any way wandered down to nudgee creek along the board walk , out going tide and flowing fast first cast caught a little talor let him swim for a while one the other line i had trusty prawns and the toad fish were in plauge proportions ,got 2 mongrel bream and almost landed a nice flatty on the new reel but the flatty had other ideas lol ps lots of small bait fish in the water too

Sounds like there'sa bit of action there at the moment. I've been there and caught a fair few fish and other times you'd swear it was barron. Might sneak a quick fish in there this week.

An X member of this site hooked 12 jacks, landed 2 in nudgee this morn.

I have always done quite well in that creek considering its size and so forth.

Good effort, I'm thinking of heading down there at some stage to expand my range and give the city fish a rest (ha ha)... Thanks for the report

Sorry for the slight thread hi-jack but for all those interested i can post the pics up in a day or 2. Dont see brissy jacks everyday especialy 2 over 40cm in one session.
