I've noticed when people try to copy and paste a link into their message it sometimes only takes the first half of the link missing the second half.

To avoid this we can use the URL tag:

[url]http://www.google.com[/url]

Alternatively we can also use the URL tag like this:

[url=http://www.google.com/ig/]This is a link to your google homepage[/url]

The URL tag is also in the "Boardcode" section just above the main message box when you hit "Reply". Moving your cursor over this URL button will also show you the correct use of this particular tag.
