I fished Mud Thursday morning, leaving Mud we headed in a bit of a loop out from Mud towards St Hel. There was a small school of Whatsons Bonito working near the Red beacon behind St Hel. No birds working the school it was only the keen eye that picked up the splashes. I had one shot at the school, but a 7" Bass Assasin was nearly as big as the fish. Further out towards Harrys there was a small school of LT's.

We drifted up wind of the school hoping to get a shot at them but thse fish are really flighty.

Good luck with who ever goes, Wynnum Cr would be a pretty close option to paddle from.

id take some bait and drop it down in front of the shipping wharves whislt drifting and keep an eye out for tuna at least youll have a good chance at some action then if theres no tuna about
