Hi all,

Im up the coast this weekend and I thought I would just pop out for a quick sesion. Jetty fishing between Bullcock beach and Golden beach @ caloundra. Didn't have my rod in long when "SMACK":woohoo: . I had a frog mouth pillie on and i landed a decent flathead. It was not a monster @ 65cm but still was realy fat and would have had a decent feed on him. I had no way of keeping him fresh today and for the trip home, so I released him. An old fella not far from me in his boat could not believe I released it. For the next 45min I caught half a dozen under sized bream, still they were hitting those whole frogmouth pillards hard.

All in all a great one hour session for the morning. 8am to 9am, tide was running out.

May our rods bend often,

Travis

p.s. had no camera on me to take a pix

Thats a good flatty mate. And nice one releasing it. I love a feed but there is always something very satisfying about releasing a quality fish.
